ADVENTURES

Sometimes it's just more fun to find your own path and create your own adventure! McGee's is the only location in the Atchafalaya Swamp that rents canoes and offers unguided paddling trips through the swamp, as well as guided photography workshops.

Whether you're new to paddling or a seasoned adventurer, the vastness of the Atchafalaya Swamp and our trails will be able to accommodate you and your group's thirst for exploration. Paddling offers a unique and eco-friendly way to experience the swamp by quietly gliding among the trees, and not disturbing the wildlife.

Our photo tours are designed to make sure you leave the area with not only great keepsakes, but images to be proud of. During a 3-hour guided tour, you will learn about the swamp, and the techniques for best photographing this amazing environment.
