SPECIAL EVENTS
Beyond the world famous airboat and swamp tours offered at McGee's, we also host special events throughout the year that celebrate our joie de vie (joy of life)! Events include Christmas themed tours led by Papa Noel, Valentine's sunset dinner cruises, haunted Halloween tours, guest tour guides, and other celebrations which focus on Louisiana's unique swamp environment and heritage.

ATCHAFALAYA NIGHTMARES
This is not a dream.....
This October, venture into the heart of the swamp for the first ever haunted experience in the Atchafalaya Basin! The approx. 90-minute experience will combine a boat ride to a mysterious island deep within the swamp, where guests will disembark the boat to walk a 1/2 mile scare trail.
To limit the spoiling of the experience, details are intentionally limited.

Know before you go:
You must wear close-toed/heel shoes. No high heels. Mud boots or old tennis shoes are highly recommended as you will be muddy. Do not enter if you’re not physically fit and able to walk long distances over rough terrain. Do not enter if you have heart conditions, are prone to seizures, have broken bones, neck or back injuries, recent or current fever or flu like conditions, or are pregnant.
